
Designed; Made inside at Princes Wharf #1
Thankyou to all the stallholders who provided valuable feedback in our recent survey following Designed; Made this May.
The results of the survey are generally positive, and the FDA committee feel that the May 2012 Designed; Made was quite a success. A steady stream of patrons attended the event and most stallholders found sales were as good or better than expected. Some further opportunities arising for stallholders included media interest, networking opportunities, potential commissions and stockists.
The decision to move to the indoor venue of Princes Wharf #1 was very well received. Some comments regarding the venue suggest improving ambiance with live music, and the need for greater visibility/ better signage outside the venue.
The survey highlighted the value of both word-of-mouth and the electronic version of this -facebook and other social media, email etc.- as by far the most used and most useful ways to promote the event. The article and advertisement in the Mercury were also very useful. Stallholder comments suggest greater media coverage in the lead-up to the event, cinema advertising and more roadside signs.
